    Hi Chandrasekar

It appears the patch is failing when it is trying to remove your full text indexes,
It probably does not have permission to remove these.

    Can you try the following

    1. Run the "Database and reports wizard" as an administrator,
to do this right click its start up icon and select "run as administrator"
and see if this allows it to work correctly

    2. if that does not work then try
Open the "HelpMaster database and reports wizard",
select the "database and report tools",
    Select your server,
    Pick the "database tools",
go to the "fulltext searching" tab,
    select your database,
and press the "remove all full text information"
If this works without errors then run the patch again, if it works correctly follow the steps above to check if the full text has been re-enabled if not press the "setup/rebuild fulltext searching"

    3. If none of these work, try removing the fulltext indexes directly from your database, before running the patch
the user you are running the patch under needs permisions to create, delete and modifiy the database objects.
If you need help with this feel free to contact us through our support chanels.

Let us know how you go

     Hi Scott,

Thanks for your help as you said in the 2. option it was the full text search problem. I was able to upgrade it as you instructed.

Now in IIS i created all the virtual folder as mentioned in the help file. But when i launch the web app .... its saying in ie

Could not load file or assembly 'HMP.Common.BaseObjects' or one of its dependencies. An attempt was made to load a program with an incorrect format.

    Cheers,

    Chandrasekar.

    Hi Chandrasekar,

Please make sure that the bit-ness of your HelpMaster app pool is the same as the installed application (i.e. you'll need to "enable 32 bit applications" on the HelpMaster app pool using IIS manager, in case you've installed the 32 bit HelpMaster application).  If it's already set correctly, then try recycling and/or restarting the app pool prior to accessing the web interface.

Let us know how it goes and if you require any further assistance.
