Hi,

I have upgraded to V8 and in the process of setting up some workflows with the email manager. I am able to setup so that when it manages the inbox it moves a email with set keywords to a folder, but what I am looking for is to move an email to a folder but also forward the original email or an customisable field to email another contact/email address.

Is that possible with helpmaster? If so how can i set this up?

Cheers,
Alex

Hi Alex,

Everything is possible with HelpMaster Pro!

Will the recipient of the forwarded email always be the same person/address?

Do you mean by "a customisable field to email another contact/email address" that in the email manager profile, perhaps in the "Post processing" options, a field saying "Forward to:....." would be helpful?

Let me know if I've missed the point.

Scotty

It looks to me like you are really talking about Email Templates.

The Email Manager will need to select a Job Template linked to an Action Template that is set up to send emails.

The Action Template then needs to be linked to an Email Template which has been created with the system tag Incoming Email / IncomeEmail_Message or subject etc.

Unfortunaltey I dont have access to a functional install of Outlook so I cannot test this for you to make sure my logic is correct.

Let me know how you go!

Cheers

Beth
