Custom integration and development with API , SDK and Addins

HelpMaster has been designed to be extensible so that it can integrate with other systems and processes that you may use at your organization.

Integration and extension to HelpMaster is achieved via 2 different, yet related approaches.

API / SDK

HelpMaster ships with an application programming interface (API) that Microsoft .Net developers can use to program directly against a simplified HelpMaster object model.  The HelpMaster API .dll exposes functions, methods and properties that can be used to develop custom solutions.  For futher information about the HelpMaster API, please refer to the on-line HelpMaster API discussion forum.

Custom add-ins

Custom add-ins are new for HelpMaster v11 and allow custom extensions to be easily added and tightly integrated within the user interface of HelpMaster.  Each custom add-in that is created is displayed as a new "tab", or button on either the Client, Site, Asset or Job screen within HelpMaster.

Custom add-in .dll can be created in any .net language like VB.net, C#.

See further details about the www.nicereply.com addin.

Other possibilities for integration

HelpMaster uses Microsoft SQL Server as it's database.  SQL Server features many powerful programming structures and integration mechanisms.  Through the use of Triggers, Stored procedures, Views, tables and functions, it may be possible to create a custom solutions for your integration requirements.

Please contact PRD Software to discuss your custom integration needs.
