XML based importing

HelpMaster features an easy to use "match the fields" mapping import system that provides quick importing capabilities.

Data is imported from easily made XML files.  Source fields are mapped to desitination fields via a visual drag 'n drop interface.  Once imput files and fields have been mapped, they can be saved for later resuse.

Active Directory user import and synchronization

HelpMaster also has the ability to import users directly from Microsoft Active Directory.  Using a profile-based interface, you can configure regular Active Directory synchronization schedules.  A flexible mapping and matching pattern ensures that you can match the right Active Directory user to the HelpMaster client.

Set the schedule frequency

Synchronization profiles can be scheduled to run at regular intervals.  The synchronization occurs via a Windows Service that performs the bridge between Microsoft Active Directory

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

Single-sign on for Active Directory imported users

Imported AD users can also receive the benefit of single-sign on to HelpMaster.  This means that they never have to enter a password at the HelpMaster logon screen.  Once they're synchronized, they get straight though no matter whether they are using the web, or the Windows version of HelpMaster.
