Another great new feature of v17 is "Template Catalogs".
Template catalogs are groupings of Job Templates and Knowledge Base articles. Each catalog can then be published to the new-look web portal. Template catalogs allow a business to group together similar job types and articles (and other things in the future) so that users on the web portal can quickly and easily drill-down into the grouping and find what they're after. This makes the user experience on the web for self-service much easier, more logical and allows the business to design their service offerings in a structured and secure manner.
Grouping job template together also allows better security and visibility of the objects within the catalog. This is good news for businesses who are servicing multiple clients, such as a MSP (Managed Service Provider) etc.
A user of the web portal can drill-into a Template Catalog ....
...and then Browse related Knowledge Base articles, or log a new job using a Job Template.
