0 Replies and 5631 Views VISTA SP1 Problems with HMP v8!    5631  0 Started by  Dennis Odri Thanks to a couple of clients that prematurely installed Vista SP1 (which is released only for developers at this stage), we have found that it will prevent the HelpMaster Pro Desktop application from working entirely! We are investigating the issue now, but highly recommend that you do not install SP1 if you have the HelpMaster Pro v8 Desktop installed. If it can be uninstalled, this should solve the problem temporarily, otherwise try setting the HelpMaster Pro Desktop application to XP compati...

0 Replies and 6314 Views Using the Import Wizard  6314  0 Started by  Rod Weir Just a quick reminder to anyone who is trying to import data into HelpMaster Pro via a comma separated value (CSV) text file.  Please ensure that when you save this file that you save it with an ANSI text encoding.  The HelpMaster Pro import wizard will not read from UNICODE or other encoded text files. If you have a UNICODE CSV file, the easiest way to convert it is to open it in Windows Notepad, and then re-save it, selecting the ANSI encoding option. Hope this helps. Rod p.s. ...
