The entire HelpMaster product suite requires the Microsoft .NET Framework v4.6.1 or greater be installed on the machine that any HelpMaster component is running on.
Windows Server 2012 R2
For hosting the Web Interface the .Net Extensibility 4.5 and ASP.Net 4.5 features also need to be deployed along with the Web Server role.
Windows 7/8
Windows 10 / Server 2016 and later operating systems;
For Windows 10 / Server 2016 and above the .Net v4.6.1 Framework (labelled 4.6 or 4.7) is included with the OS and can simply be enabled from Windows Control Panel > Programs and Features > Turn Windows features on or off or from the server Add Roles and Features Wizard as follows.
