Totally agree.
To add to this though, I would like to have the function to push the preferences to the users. This way I can set up one and then replicate this quickly against all the users. I can already push a template to the user so why not their setup preferences. Not having this means that I have to do this again and again.

Then I would also like to customise the Toolbar. We don't use the Messaging option so would rather not have it on there. If I now resize the window or have a different resolution then the Quick Find fields become minimised. This is one of the most useful fields on the toolbar so I would rather remove the Messaging and have the Quick Find useful at all resoutions.
