Hi Again!

You may find it interesting that some of the responses you get to errors you report, especially the ones you seem to get straight away, are actually COMPLETELY handled by our mighty Email Manager!

Number 5 is alive!

We have configured some simple Email Manager profiles that read the Subject and Message Body of incoming error reports, and if they contain certain phrases, words, or error numbers, it will decide which resolution article to send you! Then it will automatically send an email after a few days asking if the resolution worked. Isn't that great?! If all is well, the Email Manager will then close the job! All of this can happen regardless of the time of day... Robots don't need sleep!

What does this mean? Never fail to meet your SLA with your clients, because most common responses are handled instantly, leaving you to spend quality time on the ones that really need it. Also, by using HelpMaster Pro's System Tags, your client's name is used even in automated responses, and the Email Manager can sign off as whoever you like! It seems like the response is coming from a real person, real fast.

It's easy to underestimate the power and time-saving ability that the Email Manager contains.

What actually happens when you send an "Unexpected Error" to PRD Software? Check out my blog to find out!

Scotty
