Made” certification. This level of accreditation is awarded to products in which “all, or nearly
all of the manufacturing or processing is carried out in Australia.” The famous “Australian

New major version of HelpMaster v10.0 now available. - Wednesday, August 25, 2010

PRD Software is happy to announce that a major new release of HelpMaster v10.0 is now available.

Version 10 of HelpMaster is a major version update to the HelpMaster helpdesk suite.  It contains many new improvements, new features and a lot of "under the hood" improvements to the core code and technology.  For a list of what's new, refer to  the
What's new in version 10 page for details.

This version will require a database upgrade, which can be performed via the Database and Reports Wizard.  Full upgrade information is available in the helpfile.

Important licencing information - please read!

HelpMaster v10 has a new registration process and an updated end user licence agreement (EULA).  The EULA can be read online here.  In order to use v10 in a production environment, you will need to contact PRD Software to get a valid v10 registration code.  Clients with a current annual maintenance subscription (AMS) will be able to receive their updated registration code at no charge.  For clients with an expired annual maintenance subscription (AMS), or for those wishing to upgrade, or renew their AMS, please contact PRD Software.

HelpMaster Pro v7.5 End-of-Life notice - Friday, October 31, 2008

On December 31st 2008, PRD Software will be discontinuing support and any further development for all editions of HelpMaster Pro 7.5 in accordance with the terms of the Annual Maintenance Subscription (AMS).  HelpMaster Pro version 7.5.193 will be the final version of the 7.5 release.

PRD Software strongly recommends all users of version 7.5 to start planning for, and upgrade to a more recent version.  HelpMaster Pro v8 has now been in production use since November 2007 and has received several maintenance releases.  HelpMaster Pro version 9 is due for release by the end of 2008.

Upgrades are free to all holders of a current AMS with PRD Software. If your AMS is no longer current and you wish to upgrade, please contact our sales department.

PRD Software retires older versions to focus on improving our current releases.  We’re very excited about the new product release and look forward to helping you to deploy and get the most out of the HelpMaster Pro range of products.

A maintenance release of HelpMaster Pro is now available.  This release fixes a number of minor issues and is a recommended upgrade for anyone currently using HelpMaster Pro v8.

The release number is 8.0.17 and does require a database patch.  This means that you will need to patch your database before using this latest version using the Database and Reports Wizard, and will need to upgrade every active desktop edition of HelpMaster Pro.  This includes all modules such as Email Manager, Priority Manager, Active Directory and the Web Interface.
