HelpMaster sales
PRD Software is currently seeking a sales and marketing position within the company. The holder of this position will be managing the sales and marking initiatives for HelpMaster helpdesk software.
Sales and Marketing duties
- Respond to web-based sales enquiries about HelpMaster
- Provide pre-sales support
- Conduct regular WebEx demonstrations of HelpMaster to prospective clients
- Perform on-site demonstrations of HelpMaster service managment software
- Prepare sales and marketing documentation
- Prepare sales quotes
- Attend industry trade shows to showcase and demonstrate and promote HelpMaster
Personal qualities and abilities
- Has impeccible English reading, writing and comprehension skills
- Knows what ITIL, ITSM and ISO stand for, and can converse freely on these topics, at length
- Has a proven track record in software sales, or equivalent experience
- Is prepared to travel to give product presentations at a prospective client site
- Is prepared to give WebEx presentations to prospective and existing clients
- Understands software development companies operating in a world-wide market place
- Has no hesitation in picking up a telephone and calling a client to discuss sales, support, business, or leisure
- Appreciates the values of social media and its impact on sales, support and service
- Is able to manage a demanding prospective world-wide client list
- Is prepared to contribute to blogs, discussion forums and other client forums
- Has experience in attending tradeshows, user-groups and other market opportunities
- Is self-motivated and a free thinker
- Loves to give feedback to the software developers based on client response to HelpMaster
- Has the restraint to know when to reject a prospect, the tact to know how to push, and the wisdom to know the difference
- Knows a thing or two about marketing and the internet
- Is based in Canberra, or is willing to move here - this is where we get the work done!
Salary
Salary will be based on a retainer + commission. PRD Software like to be flexible in payment and we believe in rewarding results with appropriate remuneration. If we do well, you do well - it's that simple. On target earnings are expected to be 100k+

Software testing
PRD Software is currently seeking a software tester position within the company. The holder of this position will be involved in the development and testing of HelpMaster helpdesk software.
Software testing duties
- In response to software development modifications, test and provide feedback on the functionality, stability and useability of software
- Run manual + automated test scripts
- Setup and configure software in a wide variety of configurations, operating systems and virtual environments
Personal qualities and abilities
- Has impeccible English reading, writing and comprehension skills
- Is prepared to contribute to blogs, discussion forums and other client forums
- Is self-motivated and a free thinker
- Loves to give feedback to the software developers based on client response HelpMaster
- Is based in Canberra, or is willing to move here - this is where we get the work done!
Salary
Salary will be commensurate with software development experience.
Full time / Part time
