    The up-coming release of HelpMaster will have a lot of workflow improvements.  One of these is in the email object.  It is now possible to configure this workflow object to specify an email account to use when sending the email.  This is especially useful if using the in-line, "simple text" option rather than an email template.

    Email Templates could always use an email account, however the simple email object always used the default email account of the person logged-in and executing the workflow step.  This is where this improvement really helps.

    Configuring the "send as" email option is very useful in workflow for the following reasons:

    1. It improves consistency - always using the same "from address".  Makes sense when designing a process that requires unified email
    2. Allows for better email response management - eg.  The Email Manager can process any responses to a common "from address"
    3. Simplifies the workflow configuration and over-head.  eg.  You don't need to create separate email templates just to use an email account

    Now is a great time to start looking into workflow.  It's the most exciting feature to be developed in HelpMaster in a long time!
