I have been running reports (tried various different ones) all with the same filter.  The filter includes all jobs logged within the last 7 days and all non closed status's.  I have run this same filter through the job finder screen as well.

Three of my jobs do not appear when I run the reports; however these 3 reports do appear on the job finder window.  Is there any reason I'm missing as to why I can't see them in a report?  They look normal to me and pass the filter criteria no problems.

The only reason I've noticed is that we now have a new helpmaster database and therefore have a small number of records..

    Thanks

    Joanne

    Hi Joanne,

It could be the report. Sometimes reports have a hard-coded filter to only show open jobs, or closed jobs, so the results returned to the job finder may not necessarily be the jobs that are displayed on the report.

    Which report(s) are you running?

    Best regards,

    I've tried loads:
    - Jobs assinged to Staff Skillgroup/Staff grouping detail 1
    - Open jobs - Job line 1
    - Open jobs - job line 2 and 3 and 4 and 5
    - Job full detail
    etc etc

Always the same three that do not appear. They are all open and assigned and don't appear to be any different from other jobs. And all appear in the Job Finder window!

    Thanks

    Hi Joanne,
What version of HelpMaster Pro are you using? Also, what does your filter criteria look like?
    Strange....

    We are using 8.0.18.

    Very simple filter:
Date Logged was in the last 7 days
Job Status = (all non-closed statuses)

The three 'Missing" jobs all appear in the job finder window with the same filter criteria.

    Hi Joanne,

I've logged a support job for you so that we can investigate this further.

OK, quick update on this one. The issue was caused by a direct database import of clients. During the import, a vital piece of information was missing. Simple fix in the end.
