Do you use full text searching?

Full text searching is a very powerful way of finding information within your HelpMaster Pro database.  By using it, you can search job descriptions, action descriptions, or the notes fields in your clients, sites, and knowledge base articles.

However, you need to configure SQL Server 2005 to do it first.  Fortunately, in HelpMaster Pro v8, we've made this a lot easier for you.  All you have to do now (once Full Text Searching has been installed on your SQL Server - see your DBA about this one), is run the HelpMaster Pro database and reports wizard.

Choose the Database tools from the first screen and navigate your way to this tab.

Select your database, and then click on the "Setup/Rebuild full text searching" button as you're done.

To full text searching is accessed via the "Advanced search" within HelpMaster Pro.

Try searching your database now - you'll be surprised with what you can find!
