Recently we've had a few support issues regarding the installation of HelpMaster Pro working on some computers, but not on others.  It was discovered that the computers that did not work, did not have the Microsoft .net 2 Framework installed on them.  When this is the case, you will get an error something like...

"Strong name validation failed for assembly......"

For the record, HelpMaster Pro v8 requires the Microsoft .net 2 Framework for the desktop application.

If you are using the web interface, you'll also need the Microsoft .net 1.1 Framework.  The next release of HelpMaster Pro (v8.1) will no-longer require the 1.1 framework.

You can download the framework from Microsoft here

    Best regards,

    Rod
