A while ago we received this request from a client regarding the v8 Active Directory module

Hi guys,

I have noticed that with the Active Directory Integration module, you cannot associate existing accounts unless there is something in AD for all the three criteria fields:

Last name
First name
Work email

Our current Active Directory account setup can satisfy the First Name and Work email requirements however we don’t use last names for many of our usernames in active directory.

I’ve noticed that the option to select which criteria to use is greyed out, so I’m assuming all three are required.

We're pleased to announce that we've improved the client matching process.  The new v9 Active Directory module has more matching options and the screen now looks like this.

This will be especially helpful to organizations that have limited information in their Active Directory database.
