HMP.Desktop.exe does not allow me to pin it to the taskbar in Windows 7.

If I right click on the shortcuts created during installation (on the desktop and in the start menu) the option isn't there.  If I right click on the icon in the taskbar when the program is open the option isn't there.

If I run the program directly I do have the option to pin to taskbar but it doesn't work.  When I close the program the icon disappears.

Strangely enough the Active Directory Manager can be pinned to the taskbar.

    Hi Scott,

You're right! Thanks for catching this one. We'll get it fixed for the next release.

Hmmmn, seems like Microsoft have enforced some arbitrary rules on what can and cannot be pinned to the taskbar. Turns out that any software that has the word "Help", as in "HelpMaster" in its name cannot be pinned to the taskbar! Even shortcuts with "help" cannot be pinned!

    Looks like the solution is

    1. We rename "HelpMaster" to something that doesn't contain "help", or "support". Not going to happen...
    2. You can create a shortcut of the HelpMaster .exe, rename it so that it doesn't contain "help" and then pin the shortcut to the taskbar
    3. Modify your registry key"HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SOFTWARE\Microsoft\Windows\CurrentVersion\Explorer\FileAssociation\AddRemoveNames" and remove the reference to "help"
    4. We could possibly modify the HelpMaster installer to modify this registry key. We'll look into this.

I wonder why Microsoft have done this? Any ideas?
