    Sometimes we have to add a lot of assets, for example 20 pc's.
    All the information is the same, except the Asset ID and serial number.

    It takes a lot of time to create all these assets separately. It would save a lot of time if there was a way to copy (or fill a range) with assets, and then only change these fields.

    Thanks for your post. Yes, asset duplication is an area where HelpMaster can improve. I'll definitely add this to our list of things to do. We've also been considering cloning of jobs as well.

    In the meantime, perhaps the import utility might help?

    If you have all of your assets in an some sort of structured format (Excel spreadsheet, database, CSV file, etc), the import feature is a good way to quickly get data into HelpMaster. All you would have to do is change the Asset ID and Serial number in the source file, and the import feature would do the rest.
