    Hi Everyone,

My first post and it's a wish list!

Is it possible to have a shortcut key in adding progress notes? There may be a need to add an additional field (job #) in the action details. This is so it could go directly to the correct job number instead of selecting it from the ticket explorer.

    Hi Menard,

    Thanks for your post!

This is a good idea. HelpMaster already has "Auto text" (User menu) that converts a short text code into a longer word, phrase or sentence, but a good improvement would be to include dynamic information such as job #, client, site and other contextual information. We'll have a look at improving this in a future release.

    Thanks for the idea.

    Hi Rod,

We haven't started using 'Auto text' but not that you mentioned it, I think it's a good feature I'll explore soon.

Just to detail the idea i have, something like CTRL + F1 or alike would do. This is to represent the acknowledge job, reassign job, add progress note, etc. I'm aware these are already present in the ticket explorer. But I think it would be efficient if we can automatically press a shortcut key (or a hotkey) to bring them up.

So just to sample what I think.

    1. The shortcut key for say, reassign job, opens the corresponding action window.
    2. In the action window, the tickets under your queue can be viewed by a pull down menu. Or it there's an option to view all tickets under the bucket, etc.
    3. Fill out the details and apply.

Thanks for your time in checking this.

    Thanks!
    Menard
