Yes, tricky SQL is the way to go ;-)

When dealing with "Bit" fields as both of these fields are remember that 0 = false, 1 = true.

Here's how to get a list of all external clients
Select * From tblClient Where IsInternal = 1 -- Finds all the clients marked as Internal

The Update statement would go like this
Update tblClient Set IsInternal = 1 Where [put your filter clause here...]

For Assets

Select * From tblAssets Where IsComputer = 0 -- Finds all the assets not marked as "Is Computer"
Update tblAssets Set IsComputer = 1 Where [put your filter clause here...]


Remember that there is no undo when executing SQL Update statements (unless you consider restoring a backup an undo), so please be careful and ensure that you use an appropriate "Where" clause to adequately limit the effects of the Update to only the records you want. Not specifying a "Where" clause will affect all records in the table.
