HelpMaster Service Management Software Blog

rss

Practical tips and information about running an efficient service desk. News and information about HelpMaster, PRD Software and the ITSM industry.

Since it's beginning last year, this new HelpMaster Pro website has been a great improvement to the way we share information with the HelpMaster Pro community.  In particular, the discussion boards, blogs, chat, and report swap-shop have been a great way for everyone to communicate.  Behind the scenes we've also been using a HelpMaster Pro Wiki to share information with our UK and US resellers.

With the soon to be released HelpMaster Pro v9, no-doubt the website will become an even busier place to gain HelpMaster Pro related information.  With this in mind, we're planning some changes to the website very soon.  It will have a new look, some more discussion groups, and a place to swap HelpMaster Pro themes (anyone seen the beta yet?)

We're also planning rewards for the use of the discussion board.  I'll post about this later.  In the meantime, check out how many points you have next to your name in the discussion board.

Overall, the website has been a great success.  As of posting this, the registered user count stands at 992.  I wonder who is going to be #1000 and where they come from?  A quick check of the registration list for just this last month (November 2008) shows registrations from the following countries.

VietNam, Australia, United States, United Kingdom, South Africa, Ireland, Saudi Arabia, Belgium, Russian Federation, Oman, Pakistan, Hungary, Argentina, India, United Arab Emirates, Netherlands, Nigeria, New Zealand, Portugal, Brazil, Malaysia, Panama, Philippines, Japan, Iran, Belarus

With such an international field of users, no doubt the direction of HelpMaster Pro in 2009 will take on more a more multi-cultural awareness....stay tuned...
